TL;DR

Clinical Manager SSD (Education): Reviewing disability documentation to determine eligibility for test accommodations with an accent on psycho-educational assessment and regulatory compliance. Location: Must be based in the USA. Fully remote, with a hybrid option (Tuesday/Wednesday in office) for candidates near New York offices.

Salary: $64,000 – $110,000

What you will do

  • Conduct cross-program reviews of disability documentation for students seeking accommodations.
  • Produce accurate and well-reasoned eligibility determinations for SAT, AP, and CLEP tests.
  • Handle direct communication with schools, education professionals, parents, and test-takers regarding decisions and appeals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals, including neuropsychologists, audiologists, and medical experts.
  • Develop educational tools, presentations, and web-based resources for training and professional development.
  • Explore and adopt AI-driven solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the eligibility process.

Requirements

  • Psy.D./Ph.D. degree in a relevant psychological education area.
  • 4 to 6 years of direct professional experience in psychological/educational assessment at secondary or postsecondary levels.
  • Residence in USA and valid authorization to work in the United States.
  • Extensive knowledge of assessments and procedures for determining disabilities and appropriate accommodations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Ability to travel 5-6 times annually for business purposes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with emerging technologies and a willingness to experiment with AI solutions.
  • Knowledge of current secondary school trends related to test-takers with disabilities.
