Principal AI Engineer (LLM): Build and ship LLM-powered product capabilities end-to-end with an accent on agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses, and production deployments. What you will do

• Work cross-functionally with Product/Design to translate problems into outcomes, lead quarterly estimations, and negotiate solutions.
• Build end-to-end LLM capabilities: APIs, orchestration, integrations, and production rollouts.
• Design agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph, including tool use, reasoning, memory management.
• Develop prompting practices, A/B testing, and evaluation harnesses with test sets, metrics, and human loops.
• Collaborate on AWS deployments for reliability, security, scalability; instrument for observability and feedback loops.
• Mentor juniors, review code, write architecture docs, lead process improvements, and participate in hiring.

Requirements

• Engineering/Comp Sci degree or equivalent; 9+ years in software engineering, applied ML, data science, or AI product engineering.
• Strong Python, backend services (Flask/FastAPI), REST APIs; applied ML experience (experiments, evaluation, shipping).
• Practical LLM knowledge (hallucinations, prompts, latency/cost); hands-on LLM apps (RAG, agents, orchestration) from prototype to production.
• AWS/cloud experience, production workloads (containers, monitoring); strong fundamentals in testing, debugging, design.
• Excellent communication; agile participation (sprints, standups); comfortable learning new tech.

Nice to have

• Prior Data Scientist/Applied ML Engineer role with production prototypes.
• LLM eval/observability tools, vector DBs/RAG tuning, agent reliability patterns.
• CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code.
