What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Field Engineers handling onboarding, implementation, and customer adoption
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales for seamless pre-to-post sales transitions
- Guide customers on deployment, configuration, integration, and optimization of platform
- Coach team through technical escalations, architecture reviews, and complex environments
- Establish onboarding frameworks, technical health checks, and adoption best practices
- Drive enablement via trainings, workshops, and configuration reviews
- Act as escalation point coordinating with Product, Engineering, and Support
- Improve operations with documentation, playbooks, and tooling
- Recruit and develop Field Engineering talent
- Communicate customer feedback to influence product roadmap
Requirements
- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles, including 2+ years leading Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Field Engineering teams
- Experience leading customer onboarding, implementation, or technical adoption for SaaS/developer products
- Strong technical background in software development tools, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD platforms
- Experience managing technical escalations in production environments
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop customer-facing technical teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, or modern DevOps tooling
- Supporting enterprise deployments in cloud/hybrid environments
- Familiarity with observability, developer productivity, or AI-native tooling
- Building implementation playbooks or customer enablement programs
