Salary: $220,000–$265,000 USD annually (USA-based); $248,200–$275,500 CAD annually (Canada-based). Salary varies by experience, qualifications, location, market, and business considerations.

What you will do

• Lead global payment operations including merchant onboarding, disputes/chargebacks, reconciliation, settlements, and payouts.
• Manage and expand partnerships with PSPs, banks, fintech providers via negotiations and performance optimization.
• Build and lead high-performing global team with KPIs, SLAs, operational excellence.
• Deploy AI/automation for dispute management, exception handling, reconciliation, onboarding risk, anomaly detection, payment recovery.
• Oversee funds flow accuracy, financial controls, chargeback strategy, merchant onboarding optimization.
• Develop real-time monitoring, alerting, incident response via payments command center.
• Drive payment performance (authorization rates, routing, costs) and cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, GTM.

Requirements

• 15+ years in payments, fintech, banking, or SaaS with senior leadership in payment operations.
• Proven scaling of global payment operations: reconciliation, disputes, onboarding, payouts.
• Experience driving automation/transformation, including AI/ML in operations.
• Deep knowledge of payment ecosystems: PSPs, acquiring, card networks, alternative methods.
• Strong strategic partnerships and vendor management.
• Financial acumen for large-scale payment flows, reconciliation, reporting.
• Success leading global cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Building/scaling payments platforms or global commerce infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PCI, NACHA, PSD2 regulations.
• AI/automation implementation in financial operations/payments.
• Multi-country, multi-entity payments experience.
