Educational Consultant (Math) (EdTech): Delivering professional development, training, and on-site support for mathematics educators using i-Ready and Ready programs with an accent on data analysis, lesson planning, and implementation equity. Focus on facilitating workshops, coaching teachers and leaders, and tailoring instruction to meet diverse classroom needs.

Location: Onsite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area; must live within 30 miles of Philadelphia, PA. Supporting districts in Midwest, PA, and WV. Open to relocating to Philadelphia area; own transportation and valid driver's license required; travel up to 80%.

Compensation: Starting at $65/hour plus additional for preparation, travel, and other activities.

What you will do

• Become expert on i-Ready and Ready Mathematics products.
• Facilitate on-site training and professional learning for teachers, coaches, and administrators.
• Provide tailored support including lesson planning, data analysis, and implementation guidance.
• Deliver workshops adjusted to participant needs to ensure equity in classrooms.
• Track training notes, complete assignments, and engage in professional improvement cycles.
• Maintain professional image with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years teaching Mathematics, coaching, or professional learning.
• Strong knowledge of K-8 Mathematics State Standards (content and practice).
• Fluency with digital tools, online assessments, and data application.
• Understanding of adult learning principles for effective facilitation.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Office programs; ability to work independently and in teams.
• Must have own transportation, valid driver's license, and be based near Philadelphia or relocate.

Nice to have

• Secondary (6-12) Math teaching experience or Bachelor's in Mathematics/Math education.
• Understanding of K-8 ELA Standards.
• Knowledge of online meeting tools like Zoom/WebEx.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
