Location: Remote (USA). Candidates near offices may choose hybrid (two days per week on-site).

Salary: $153,000 - $166,000

What you will do

• Collect, curate, and analyze threat intelligence, including malware design trends, to derive risk insights and defensive priorities.
• Assess adversary behaviors and operational trends to identify defensive and investigative opportunities.
• Translate intelligence findings into security requirements and hardening priorities for engineering teams.
• Produce high-confidence written assessments and briefings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Improve the quality of security-relevant signals and analytic outputs to support detection and measurement efforts.
• Partner cross-functionally with Data Science, engineering, and operational stakeholders to integrate outputs into workflows.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in threat intelligence, security engineering, or security research.
• Demonstrated capability in Windows malware analysis.
• Proficiency with Python and at least one additional language for automation or prototyping.
• Strong fundamentals in operating systems, networking, and attacker tradecraft.
• Ability to speak Mandarin and read/write Chinese (Traditional and/or Simplified) is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Vietnamese language proficiency.
• Understanding of regional communication norms and online ecosystems relevant to threat research.
