What you will do
- Conduct threat modeling sessions with product teams and design secure architectures for new AI features.
- Own application security program: implement SAST/DAST in CI/CD, perform code reviews, and build vulnerability automation.
- Champion secure coding standards and reusable security patterns for developers.
- Design security features for customer environments and leverage AI agents to boost security velocity.
- Lead penetration testing and security assessments of applications, AI services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Research emerging AI/ML threats and build proactive defenses.
Requirements
- Hybrid from San Francisco or New York City offices
- 4+ years in application security engineering securing large-scale systems.
- Expertise in 2+ languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript) for code review.
- Knowledge of SAST/DAST, vulnerability management, DevSecOps practices.
- Strong communication to explain security to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Builder mindset focused on automation and enabling velocity.
