What you will do

• Analyze detection data and customer reports to identify improvements for machine learning models
• Manage false positive detections through targeted tasks
• Examine binary files to assess legitimacy
• Review product detections to maintain company standards
• Respond to internal queries on customer threat detections

Requirements

• Location: Must be in USA (VA, KY, IA, IN, DC for remote)
• Understanding of malware types and functionality
• Experience with reverse engineering malware
• Knowledge of Python and scripting
• Understanding of binary file attributes like imports/exports and packers
• Research and analytical skills for threat/risk assessment
• Familiarity with various operating systems

Nice to have

• Security operations center or incident response experience
• Deep knowledge of Windows OS internals and API
• Knowledge of MacOS and Linux
• Familiarity with cyber-intrusion tools
• Background in exploit and vulnerability analysis
