What you will do

• Lead editorial planning and execution across personal finance brands
• Drive teams to react to news, trends, and develop enterprise features
• Set strategic vision for coverage emphasizing trust and audience relevance
• Manage, mentor, and develop editors and writers
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and uphold editorial standards
• Collaborate with product, SEO, audience, and commerce teams

Requirements

• 10+ years editing personal finance or consumer financial content at a major media organization
• Proven leadership managing teams and multi-brand editorial strategy
• Strong understanding of credit, debt, investing, taxes, and financial planning
• Demonstrated ability to shape accurate, actionable service journalism
• Excellent news judgment
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Nice to have

• Background in finance, economics, or financial planning
• Experience with certified experts like CFPs or tax professionals
• Familiarity with commerce and affiliate content models
• Experience scaling editorial processes across platforms
