Quality Assurance Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Audit production processes to ensure standard work is performed consistently by operators.
• Provide technical support to diagnose and rectify production issues on the manufacturing floor.
• Select and perform destructive and non-destructive testing at various production stages.
• Record and evaluate test performance data, noting deviations and inputting data into analysis systems.
• Collaborate with management and engineering to define and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct and document regular production audits and report findings to the quality team.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably 2–4 years in the wire and cable or related industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Excel.
• Physical ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Project Management.
• Experience working with various industrial software systems.
