Quality Assurance Coordinator

Quality Assurance Coordinator (Manufacturing/Nuclear): Supporting the Nuclear Quality organization by managing compliance, documentation, and inspection activities to maintain adherence to 10CFR50 Appendix B and internal quality standards. Focus on audit readiness, corrective action tracking, and ensuring rigorous documentation accuracy in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Must be based in Elizabethtown, NC, United States

Salary: $23–$43/hr

What you will do

• Support incoming inspection documentation, nuclear documentation packages, and audit preparation.
• Review Certificates of Compliance, material certifications, and inspection reports for accuracy.
• Coordinate and maintain training and qualification records for personnel.
• Track corrective actions, audit findings, and quality improvement activities.
• Assist with supplier qualification activities and maintenance of supplier documentation.
• Cross-train with the Nuclear Quality Inspector to provide backup support for critical inspection activities.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual) due to ITAR regulations.
• 3+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering support, or document control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Quality, or related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, or medical industries.
• Knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, EPRI guidance, or ISO 9001.
• Experience with ERP systems and record retention programs.
