What you will do

• Design and implement comprehensive telemetry, logging, and diagnostic systems for mobile applications to ensure robust monitoring.
• Build and integrate frameworks to streamline development across mobile and console teams.
• Develop and maintain high-quality applications using both Android native technologies and React Native.
• Implement scalable reusable components using architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, and MVP.
• Collaborate with international UI designers and product managers in the USA, Japan, and UK.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using telemetry data to improve user experience.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work in a hybrid setup in San Mateo, CA.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Android native development with strong expertise in Java/Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Proven experience implementing telemetry, analytics, and logging solutions in production.
• Deep understanding of Android system internals, debugging tools, and performance profiling.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React/React Native or Angular.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise telemetry and monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of data serialization formats and efficient data transmission protocols.
• Experience with React Native bridge development and native module creation.
• Open-source contributions, especially in library development.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs.
