What you will do

• Drive and define Android experiences across Maps, Realtime, Feed, Notifications, History, and coordination features.
• Align technical leads on patterns, architectural guardrails, and execution plans for cohesive experiences.
• Sequence work effectively across teams and unblock complex technical challenges with prototypes and deep reviews.
• Write production code focusing on high-leverage activities to accelerate teams and improve consistency.
• Direct AI agents through the full development loop from problem framing to shipping, owning the output.
• Build with instrumentation, quality gates, and push AI-native practices like agentic workflows across the team.
• Collaborate with Design for polished, intuitive, emotionally expressive interactions.

Requirements

• 8+ years building consumer-facing Android apps at scale, ideally high-engagement, high-MAU products
• Deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Architecture Components
• Strong architectural skills to define patterns and guide multi-team technical direction
• Experience leading complex multi-team initiatives for cohesive end-to-end user experiences
• Ability to influence product direction via technical insight and tradeoff evaluation
• Hands-on technical multiplier via mentorship, reviews, prototyping, unblocking
• Active use of AI coding agents with shipped examples of AI-directed output
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
