TL;DR

Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
Salary: $60–$69 per hour (W2)

What you will do
- Develop and sustain mission-critical software delivering PNT data to U.S. Navy surface ships.
- Create and execute automated and manual test procedures to validate military GPS-based systems.
- Organize system requirements and perform verification and validation (V&V) tasks.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software engineers to resolve integration issues.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define system and subsystem requirements.
- Communicate daily status, achievements, and blockers to team leads and teammates.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is strictly required.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking, switches/routers, and basic electronic circuitry.
- Proficiency in software scripting languages.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience developing and conducting automated and manual test procedures.
Nice to have
- Active and transferable U.S. government SECRET security clearance.
- Experience with the full systems engineering lifecycle (definition, analysis, decomposition, V&V).
- Ability to evaluate and mitigate technical risks.
- Familiarity with military tactics, techniques, and procedures.
