What you will do
- Set the strategic vision and roadmap for product, infrastructure, and IT security.
- Lead, mentor, and strengthen a team of security engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
- Serve as a security domain expert, communicating risks and concepts to senior leadership and engineering teams.
- Drive the implementation of security guidelines and integrate security into day-to-day development.
- Collaborate with product and IT leadership to align on security priorities and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in security engineering, with 5+ years in leadership or management.
- Expert knowledge of security architecture and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, secure coding, and OWASP Top 10.
- Experience with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth, SAML, OIDC) and IAM.
- Proven expertise in threat modeling and risk identification techniques.
- Must be based in California (CA) for the provided salary range.
