What you will do

• Design and implement the security roadmap for Bridge's production systems.
• Lead threat modeling and infrastructure hardening for money movement platforms.
• Build and scale core security capabilities, including monitoring, secrets management, and access controls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reinforce secure development and CI/CD practices.
• Manage compliance and audit requirements as the platform scales to regulated markets.
• Balance security rigor with the velocity required in a fast-paced fintech startup environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Must be able to work onsite in New York or San Francisco.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments building security practices from scratch.
• Proficiency in reading and debugging backend application code.
• Ability to prioritize critical risks in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional experience working with Ruby.
• Interest or prior knowledge in crypto and stablecoin infrastructure.
