What you will do

• Design and document end-to-end architectures connecting embedded devices, edge components, and cloud infrastructures.
• Evaluate and coordinate integrations between multiple product-specific systems and partner platforms.
• Establish secure coding, deployment, and DevSecOps standards across CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews and threat modeling for embedded, backend, and cloud software.
• Define interfaces and data security requirements with firmware, backend, cloud engineering, IT, and product security teams.
• Align architecture with product roadmaps, compliance frameworks, and operational reliability goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience designing distributed or hybrid cloud systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on programming experience with Python, C/C++, Go, Java, or Rust.
• Knowledge of embedded software, real-time systems, and device-to-cloud communication using MQTT, REST, or gRPC.
• Experience with CI/CD security analysis, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, CVEs, and mitigation strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience with zero-trust architecture, OAuth2, JWT, IAM, and secure OTA updates.
• Background in industrial IoT, energy systems, or mission-critical control environments.
• Contributions to open-source security tools or frameworks.
• CISSP, CEH, CSSLP, or AWS/Azure Security Specialty certification.
