What you will do
- Process admissions applications, evaluate transcripts, coordinate offers and refusals for Majors, Honours, and Combined Majors.
- Act as timetable representative: schedule 160+ ECON courses, labs, exams, and manage collaborative scheduling platforms.
- Provide student advising on program requirements, course registration, academic misconduct, and connect to support services.
- Coordinate events like graduation receptions, recruitment fairs, and student society activities; manage communications and website updates.
- Supervise Undergraduate Programs Assistant, support curriculum changes, and audit systems like Workday for data accuracy.
- Liaise with faculty, Scheduling Services, and external units to resolve scheduling and administrative issues.
Requirements
- High School graduation plus one year post-secondary diploma and four years related experience, or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with academic systems preferred.
- High initiative, independence, ability to prioritize in high-workload environment, attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and communicate policies clearly in oral and written form.
- Willingness to respect diverse perspectives and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of undergraduate policies and procedures.
- Experience in student services, admissions, or academic advising.
