What you will do

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory integration and test environments.
• Configure and validate serial communication links (RS-232/422/485, CAN, Ethernet) between devices and simulation hardware.
• Perform circuit debugging using multimeters and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Administer Linux and Windows operating systems within the lab environment.
• Analyze system logs and perform network diagnostics using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with US Residency.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows terminals, shell scripting, and PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of computer networking fundamentals including VLANs and switch configuration.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication and repair of cables and harnesses.

Nice to have

• Experience with NI TestStand for test sequence development.
• Knowledge of HIL model-hardware interaction and real-time simulation workflows.
• Experience with automotive protocols like LIN, MIL-STD-1553, or ARINC 429.
• Background managing datacenter or home-lab infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of C/C++ for reading and modifying test scripts.
