What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for on-premises, mobile, and cloud services.
• Execute and analyze manual and automated tests; troubleshoot using logs and results.
• Validate system behavior in secure networking environments following cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and security teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Build and manage complex test environments including physical, mobile, and cloud components.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of quality and security.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite Monday - Friday in Irvine, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in software engineering or test automation.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and systems.
• Experience with mobile testing tools and cloud application testing.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure coding/testing practices.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience with security testing tools and API security testing.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance, load, or penetration testing.
• Background in Agile/Scrum development environments.
