What you will do

• Identify, report, and track bugs in code, assets, and tools to closure.
• Perform smoke tests on code and critical assets prior to releasing them to the development team.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to validate fixes and ensure requirements are met.
• Analyze departmental challenges and develop creative solutions or workarounds to prevent quality loss.
• Support the Lead QA in daily responsibilities and process improvements.

Requirements

• Ability to accurately troubleshoot software and hardware problems and describe them clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage time under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of video games across multiple consoles (Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony) or PC.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping multiple game titles in a professional development organization.
• Knowledge of testing concepts: Test Case usage, Bug writing, Regression, and Ad hoc testing.
