What you will do

• Lead and scale a team of senior and staff engineers focusing on computer vision, AI-powered experiences, and data infrastructure.
• Drive the streaming intelligence program from POC to production-scale operation across five major sports within six months.
• Define the technical direction and architecture to ensure systems scale to 250K+ concurrent live streams.
• Establish reusable AI development patterns, including model integration and agentic workflows, for adoption across the company.
• Partner with the Principal Product Manager to co-own the product roadmap, planning cadence, and delivery milestones.
• Manage technical relationships with external AI/CV vendors and academic partners, handling build-vs-buy recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in engineering management leading senior and staff-level engineers.
• Proven track record of shipping AI/ML-powered products into production, including deployment and monitoring.
• Strong technical foundation in Python, AWS, and modern data infrastructure (Snowflake, Kafka, or similar).
• Experience partnering closely with product management to co-own and deliver a complex product line.
• Ability to create structure and momentum within ambiguous, early-stage programs.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Alpharetta, GA.

Nice to have

• Experience with computer vision or video processing at scale.
• Background in media and streaming or sports domain knowledge.
