Salary: $93,900–$172,000

What you will do

• Build and optimize observability, monitoring, and alerting for key market services.
• Implement AI-driven reliability solutions including anomaly detection and predictive alerting.
• Leverage LLMs and Generative AI to automate runbooks and streamline log analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for high-traffic trading systems.
• Support the migration of market applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop Python and Bash scripts to reduce operational toil and improve velocity.

Requirements

• Must be a local candidate in New York or Chicago.
• Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm EST.
• Experience with Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques to operational efficiency (AIOps).
• Experience with GCP (GCE, GKE) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with AIOps platforms like Dynatrace, New Relic, or BigPanda.
• Knowledge of financial markets and Agile environments.
