Salary: $130,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Manage site performance, uptime, and scalability across various production technology stacks.
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerting systems, and comprehensive runbook documentation.
• Design and propose architectural changes to enhance product reliability and scalability.
• Develop internal tooling to optimize deployment and release processes.
• Partner with application engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions for global customers.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack, implementing both immediate fixes and long-term solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of professional hands-on experience in software engineering or SRE.
• Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Java, C++, C) and one scripting language (Python, Bash, Perl).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud providers (AWS or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of web servers, message queues, load balancers, databases, and observability tools.
• Location: Must be based in San Mateo, CA.
