TL;DR
IT Support Specialist (IT Operations): Delivering high-quality, customer-focused IT support and first-time resolution for global users with an accent on 1st and 2nd line support across diverse OS environments. Location: On-site in Edinburgh, Scotland. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.

What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT customers via the Service Desk.
- Log, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Administer user accounts and access management using Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Provide support for mobile devices (iOS, Android) and audio-visual/meeting room technology.
- Manage the full IT hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, preparation, and deployment.
- Execute onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation and equipment setup.
Requirements
- Degree in Computing or equivalent practical experience in IT support.
- Previous experience in a 1st and/or 2nd line IT support environment.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS desktop support.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and basic understanding of Active Directory.
- Ability to support mobile devices and AV technology.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to Edinburgh, Scotland.
