What you will do
- Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line engineering support for the NYC Public Safety Logging and Recording Solution.
- Provision, deploy, patch, and upgrade NRX/NIR platforms including Inform and TT911.
- Implement maintenance schedules and health monitoring to ensure optimal system reliability.
- Collaborate with R&D and deployment teams to roll out software packages and system upgrades.
- Execute database queries and PowerShell scripts for troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
- Participate in a 24/7 out-of-hours support rotation for critical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in technical customer support, preferably in public safety or mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency with Windows Server (2012-2019) and VMware v7/v9 (ESXi, vSCA, HA).
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization and Active Directory administration.
- Ability to create and execute PowerShell scripts.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Hoboken, NJ.
