TL;DR
Senior Director, Global Policy and Solutions (Public Policy): Leading a global team to develop scalable and high-impact policy solutions for humanitarian crises with an accent on strategic engagement with global policymakers. Location: New York, NY. Must be based in the US and physically in the office at least 3 days a week.
Salary: $200,000 - $225,000

What you will do
- Lead the Global Policy and Solutions team, managing a diverse group of policy experts to ensure cohesive strategies across global markets.
- Develop influence strategies in partnership with the CEO, Leadership Board, and Board of Directors to advance the IRC's profile and funding goals.
- Engage with senior policymakers globally to drive systemic change and identify priority policy windows of opportunity.
- Oversee the development of signature policy products, including annual analyses of conflict and resettlement accelerators.
- Collaborate with Communications and the President's Office to craft high-impact op-eds, speeches, and briefings.
- Mentor the global policy team and uplift diverse policy voices within the organization.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Public Policy, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- Significant experience working on humanitarian and/or development issues.
- Proven track record of effective engagement in high-level policy forums and with think tanks.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to ideate and solve complex problems.
- Outstanding writing and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into coherent narratives.
- Location: Must be based in New York, NY, with a requirement to be in-office at least 3 days a week.
