Software Engineer - Frontend (React)

Location: Hybrid work from the Porto or Lisbon hubs in Portugal

What you will do

• Develop global-scale solutions for hirify.global.com using the core React-based architecture.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of personalized user experiences, from discovery with Product and Design through deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the wider Front-end community to solve complex technical challenges.
• Evolve open-source packages and centralized design systems across consumer products.
• Improve web performance, integrate GraphQL APIs, and apply advanced testing strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Front-end development experience in collaborative, multi-team environments.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript fundamentals, and React.
• Knowledge of JavaScript design patterns, data structures, and web architecture.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs, Web Accessibility including ARIA, SEO best practices, and design systems.
