Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (React)

Location: Porto, Portugal (Hybrid). Candidates residing outside Porto, Maia, Matosinhos, Gondomar, Valongo, and Vila Nova de Gaia may work fully remotely. Candidates residing within these municipalities must work from the office 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Implement UX designs with UX Designers using React and Redux.
• Build custom dashboard widgets with Google Looker Studio plugins.
• Develop scalable and highly available application platforms using modern PaaS technologies such as GCP.
• Contribute to requirements analysis, backlog grooming, architecture, and implementation documentation.
• Use CDN and NoSQL components to improve scalability, reliability, and operability.
• Own production code, including on-call support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with React, Redux, and JavaScript.
• Experience applying modern UI design patterns and separating concerns in distributed systems.
• Experience with operational code ownership, on-call support, troubleshooting, and uptime.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
• Strong proactive verbal and written communication skills with a self-motivated, ownership-focused approach.

Nice to have

• Experience developing custom widgets with Google Looker Studio.
• Experience with contact center software.
