What you will do

• Manage a team of fund accountants responsible for NAV production, financial statements, and associated reports.
• Lead client relationships and act as the primary escalation point for queries and issue resolution.
• Ensure accuracy of deliverables and accountability for meeting SLA deadlines.
• Coordinate resources, including cross-training and coverage, to meet client and organizational expectations.
• Oversee the audit process and prepare or review financial statements.
• Track and manage client profit margins, staff utilization, and operational risk.

Requirements

• University degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in the fund administration industry.
• Proven experience managing staff, including administrators, investment managers, or fund auditors.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Halifax, NS, Canada (Hybrid)

• Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA or equivalent).
