AI Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain

We are hiring an AI Infrastructure Engineer at Semidynamics — a European semiconductor innovator developing next-generation RISC-V processor technology for AI, HPC, and advanced computing applications.

The role combines AI infrastructure engineering, model deployment, inference optimization, compiler/toolchain understanding, and low-level performance optimization for cutting-edge AI hardware platforms.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in AI infrastructure systems engineering
  • Strong experience with AI application development and model deployment
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, or similar AI frameworks
  • Experience with AI deployment and inference frameworks such as vLLM, SGLang, Triton, or DeepSpeed
  • Solid understanding of model optimization, profiling, and multicore computing techniques
  • Experience with CUDA and/or ROCm ecosystems
  • Knowledge of AI compiler stacks such as OpenXLA, TVM, or IREE
  • Strong C++ and Python experience
  • Experience with TensorRT and inference acceleration techniques
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices
  • Familiarity with low-level systems programming, Assembly, or bare-metal environments is highly valued
  • Experience with software profiling and architecture-level optimization
  • English level C1+ with fluent spoken communication skills — international team environment
