What you will do

• Own AI experiments end-to-end: shape hypotheses, build prototypes, ship, measure, and iterate
• Partner with ML Engineering to productize prototypes, harden for production, and define graduation criteria
• Design agent action schemas, tool contracts, RAG systems, orchestration workflows, and evaluation loops
• Build human-in-the-loop flows for approvals and safe execution
• Validate with users and stakeholders to refine problems and assumptions

Requirements

• 7+ years shipping production software, including customer-facing AI/LLM features
• Experience building AI agent systems: tool use, context management, orchestration
• Experience with RAG systems, vector DB retrieval, evaluation for non-deterministic outputs
• Strong backend skills: stateful services, streaming workflows, cost management
• Product instincts to prioritize measurable value; clear communication in remote async environment
• U.S. based full-time employee

• Technical founder or early engineer at high-growth SaaS
• ML depth: fine-tuning, model evaluation, applying LLM research
