What you will do

• Build and manage a talented team of designers, handling performance, health, resource allocation, and prioritization.
• Turn broad ideas into valuable products using expertise in UX, 3D real-time, and workflow design.
• Cultivate a healthy design process and contribute to product strategy, driving business outcomes through design.
• Communicate product goals across teams, connect projects, and resolve issues quickly.
• Solicit and provide feedback to raise design quality standards.
• Stay ahead of industry trends like AI and 3D real-time tools.

Requirements

• 7+ years hands-on design experience
• 2+ years as people manager building and leading design teams
• Strong portfolio showcasing process, thinking, and simplifying complexity
• Experience with intuitive design like configurators
• Systems-thinking mindset balancing details and big-picture vision
• Innovative design systems with bias toward craft and excellence
• Deep user empathy and clear communication with teams

Nice to have

• Background in architecture, construction tech, or home design
• Familiarity with 3D tools (Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Unity, Three.js)
• B2B and consumer design experience
