Tax Senior

TL;DR

Tax Senior (Accounting): Create internal taxation policies and incorporate into accounting procedures, prepare and review income tax returns including corporation, S corporation, individual, partnership, and trust with an accent on client tax planning and research. Focus on assisting with IRS and state tax audits and communicating with clients at all levels.

Location: On-site in Watertown, NY

Compensation: $65K – $80K

What you will do

• Prepare and/or review income tax returns for corporations, S corporations, individuals, partnerships, and trusts
• Conduct client tax planning and research
• Assist with IRS and state tax audits
• Communicate and follow up with clients at all levels
• Incorporate taxation policies into current accounting procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of Public Accounting experience
• CPA track a plus
• Applicable tax experience in private industry considered
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask
• Effective communicator able to pursue self-development and excel in team approach
