Tax Manager

What you will do

• Review federal, state, and local tax returns prepared by staff for accuracy and compliance
• Provide technical guidance and identify tax-saving opportunities for clients
• Research complex tax issues and analyze new laws' implications
• Collaborate with teams to manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables
• Participate in process improvements for tax review procedures
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes

Requirements

• CPA required
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required
• Experience with tax preparation and accounting
• Experience in public accounting preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to engage professionally with clients verbally and in writing
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software

Nice to have

• Experience with compiled and reviewed financial statements
• Experience with ClickUp, CCH/Engagement, and QuickBooks
