What you will do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research, identify tax-saving opportunities, and provide technical support on complex issues.
• Serve as primary client contact for tax matters, addressing inquiries and fostering relationships.
• Mentor and supervise staff, providing training and guidance.
• Conduct quality reviews of tax returns and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in IRS and state tax audits, assist with tax provisions and disclosures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Solid understanding of financial statement preparation and accounting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
