Quality Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Quality Coordinator (Manufacturing): Managing quality control, testing, and calibration processes for raw materials and finished goods within an adhesives manufacturing plant with an accent on Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Focus on driving Zero Defect initiatives, reducing Cost of Poor Quality, and supervising lab technicians.

Location: On-site in Monterrey, Mexico

What you will do

• Support validations and QA activities for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Own and maintain the calibration master schedule and lead the MSA program (Gage R&R, bias, linearity).
• Analyze lab and process data to identify trends and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams on quality control design and CTQ steps.
• Evaluate obsolete or off-spec materials and provide recommendations to minimize waste.
• Train, mentor, and oversee Level I–III Lab Technicians.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related technical field (AA or 2-year program).
• 5–7 years of experience as a Lab Technician or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience supervising lab technicians.
• Strong knowledge of MSA, calibration, SPC, and documentation control.
• Experience working in regulated or controlled manufacturing environments.
• Location: Must be based in Monterrey, Mexico

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, or 5S methodologies.
• Proficiency with SAP, specifically QM/MM modules.
• Experience leading small technical projects or trials.
