Business Director, Live Planning (Performance Media): Translate client business goals into high-impact, cross-channel performance plans across Search, Social, Programmatic and emerging platforms with an accent on tactical activation frameworks and measurable outcomes. Focus on designing cross-channel systems, leveraging analytics outputs for optimization, and managing adaptive budget allocation for large-scale campaigns.
Location: Hybrid in London, UK - 2 days (Mon-Tue) at Ford’s Dunton office, 1 day (Wed) at VML Sea Containers House, 1 day (Thu) at Mindshare Rose Court. UK based role; must have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do
- Translate briefs into actionable media plans with KPIs, designing cross-channel activation including Search, Social, Programmatic.
- Leverage analytics (MMM, MTA, GA4) to guide planning, data activation, audience strategies, and experimentation agendas.
- Manage relationships with Ford UK, VMLYR, channel teams; act as strategic liaison for creative assets and delivery.
- Oversee strategic management of annual always-on performance campaigns, budget allocation, risk mitigation.
- Drive innovation by integrating local initiatives with broader strategies and championing emerging media platforms.
Requirements
- Experience across paid media, digital performance, strategy; deep understanding of at least two disciplines (Search, Social, Programmatic, Retail Media).
- Proven experience managing large, complex performance accounts with measurable results.
- Strong knowledge of measurement, data tracking, platforms, AdOps; ability to turn data into activation stories.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, stakeholder management; commercial acumen for budgets and investments.
- Must have right to work in the UK; thrive in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
