Build/Integrations Specialist

TL;DR

Build/Integrations Specialist (Telecommunications): Assembling, testing, and deploying baseband telecommunications systems with an accent on troubleshooting and repairing network equipment. Focus on implementing test plans, upgrading devices via TFTP/FTP, fabricating cables, and interpreting wiring schematics.

Location: Sterling, VA (Fairfax area), full-time onsite. Up to 10% CONUS and OCONUS travel including hazard areas.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair Cisco and Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Use test equipment like JDSU FST-2802, Cable Eye, multimeter, Firebird 6000A, and Digital Lightwave.
• Upgrade/downgrade devices using TFTP, FTP, and terminal emulators.
• Implement test plans for bench and system testing of equipment and components.
• Interpret interconnect drawings and wiring schematics.
• Fabricate CAT6 and other data cables.

Requirements

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with Poly on day one and be eligible for crossover.
• 4+ years of experience.
• High school education (no equivalent experience substitution).
• Willing and capable of obtaining weapons certification.
• Follow basic safety practices.

Nice to have

• JNCIA, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or other certifications.
• Additional technical training/certifications.
