Senior AI Software Engineer (GenAI): Building production-grade GenAI infrastructure, AI agents, RAG pipelines, backend services, and reusable SDKs for industrial machine and process health solutions with an accent on reliability, secure data access, and scalable system architecture. What you will do
- Build reusable GenAI infrastructure, SDKs, and internal frameworks for AI-powered product capabilities.
- Design and implement AI agents, RAG flows, tool-calling workflows, and LLM orchestration pipelines.
- Develop production-grade GenAI services, APIs, backend infrastructure, and integrations with microservices, data platforms, vector search, and event-driven systems.
- Design secure data-access patterns supporting authorization, tenant separation, and user-level data scope.
- Implement evaluation, tracing, monitoring, and quality-control mechanisms for GenAI systems.
- Improve latency, reliability, fallback behavior, cost efficiency, and production readiness while collaborating with backend, product, data, AI/ML, and domain teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Python development and backend engineering experience with APIs, services, integrations, or microservices.
- Experience designing, shipping, or operating LLM-powered applications or GenAI systems.
- Experience with RAG, AI agents, tool or function calling, prompt orchestration, evaluation, and observability.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, production backend architecture, system design, security, scalability, latency, and maintainability.
- Ability to work with complex data models, explain technical decisions clearly, and turn prototypes into production-ready systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, Go, MongoDB, Databricks, Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, vector search, or event-driven systems.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Gemini, knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, Neo4j, or multi-agent systems.
- Experience building internal platforms, SDKs, developer tools, shared infrastructure, authorization systems, or multi-tenant platforms.
- Experience in industrial, IoT, predictive maintenance, manufacturing, or operational-data domains.
