Senior AI Engineer (Agentic Systems)

What you will do

• Design and build advanced AI agents that perform real-world tasks rather than acting as simple LLM wrappers.
• Develop core infrastructure for orchestration, tool execution, context management, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Collaborate with the Product team to scope, prioritize, and drive the rollout of agentic features.
• Monitor system performance, debug complex issues, and iterate on features based on real-world usage.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and mentor other engineers to raise the overall engineering bar.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience shipping production systems.
• Proven track record of building and deploying agents that utilize tool use, structured output, and orchestration.
• Strong backend fundamentals with a focus on reliability, observability, and security.
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing codebases and improve them.
• Location: Must be based in the Americas or EMEA regions.
• Strong written communication skills for a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with subscription business models, app stores, or developer tools.
• Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and observability frameworks like Langfuse or Langchain.
• Experience building Slack integrations or contributing to open-source AI/ML tooling.
