What you will do

  • Design solutions aligning with long-term IT strategy and provide integration expertise.
  • Develop core software independently or collaboratively, ensuring stability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Collaborate in team sessions, product planning, and decompose work for implementation.
  • Define engineering standards, patterns, and promote CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assess technologies, manage vendors, and participate in proof-of-concepts.
  • Coach junior engineers, provide trainings, and contribute to recruiting top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent + 7+ years engineering experience
  • Sound knowledge of SDLC, version control, systems design for security/stability.
  • Expertise in debugging code/logs and complex database querying.
  • Perform code reviews with team members.

Nice to have

  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Java Object Oriented Programming experience.
  • Experience coaching/mentoring team members.
