TL;DR

Project Manager (Instructional Design): Lead cross-functional teams from kickoff to delivery in online learning projects with an accent on scope management, stakeholder coordination, and process standardization. Focus on developing project frameworks, mitigating risks, facilitating reviews, and driving data-informed improvements across instructional design and eLearning workstreams.

Location: Remote from Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones only. Not open to applicants residing in or based in California, New York, Illinois, or Massachusetts.

What you will do

  • Develop and manage project frameworks, templates, and workflows for consistency and efficiency.
  • Facilitate alignment among sponsors, stakeholders, and teams to define scopes, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Oversee execution in Asana, tracking deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Maintain communication via status meetings, reports, and feedback to keep stakeholders engaged.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement using performance metrics.
  • Guide coordinators and contribute to PMO initiatives.

Requirements

  • Located in Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones; not in CA, NY, IL, or MA.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Instructional Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years project management experience, ideally in matrix organizations.
  • Lead teams through influence, develop processes and governance.
  • Proficiency with Asana or similar for dashboards and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of instructional design and eLearning technology.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, problem-solving.
