Senior Change Risk Specialist

TL;DR

Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: $105,000 to $123,000, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Represent Risk Management on business and technology projects, analyzing changes, identifying risks, assessing controls, and documenting mitigations.
• Provide constructive challenges, collaborate on solutions, and communicate risk implications to leaders and teams.
• Lead administrative aspects of Change Risk process, ensure accurate risk ratings, and maintain documentation adherence to policies.
• Support business process automation, integrate risk considerations, and identify opportunities to reduce operational risk.
• Conduct thematic risk assessments, evaluate controls, and develop reporting/dashboards for better visibility.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in risk management, operational risk, change risk, audit, compliance, or process/control design.
• Experience in process mapping.
• Strong understanding of risk/control frameworks and change management principles.
• Experience representing risk on projects, translating complex risks into actionable language, and influencing outcomes.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Current work authorization for Canada required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analytics (Power BI, advanced Excel, SQL, Python).
• Exposure to business process automation or workflow tools.
• Financial services experience.
