CNO Developer (Mid-Level)

Location: 420 National Business Parkway, Jessup, Maryland, United States; onsite

Salary: $190,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop Computer Network Operations capabilities, tools, and applications.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, testing, and debugging.
• Troubleshoot complex low-level software systems and apply TCP/IP and socket-level programming.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and mission partners to support system performance and security.
• Maintain software quality, testing, documentation, and secure coding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with at least 8 years of software engineering experience, or a high school diploma with at least 12 years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python or C/C++ and hands-on experience with network programming and socket-level development.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• U.S. person status is required for ITAR/EAR compliance; U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience developing CNO capabilities or performing software reverse engineering.
• Knowledge of assembly-level concepts and low-level system behavior.
• Experience with system internals across Windows, Unix, mobile, or network-device platforms.
• Experience with unit testing, test automation, and Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Crucible.
