CNO Developer (Mid-Level) (Cybersecurity): Design and develop low-level software tools and capabilities for Computer Network Operations missions with an accent on networking fundamentals, socket-level programming, and secure coding practices. Focus on troubleshooting complex systems, reverse engineering, and delivering high-impact cyber solutions across the full software development lifecycle.

Location: Onsite at 420 National Business Parkway, Jessup, MD. U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR compliance). Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Salary: $190,000 – $210,000

What you will do

• Design and develop CNO capabilities, tools, and applications
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle: design, documentation, testing, and debugging
• Troubleshoot and debug complex low-level software systems
• Apply networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and socket-level programming
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and mission partners to ensure performance and security
• Maintain high standards for software quality, testing, and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering + 7 years experience OR High School + 12 years relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in Python or C/C++
• Hands-on experience with network programming and socket-level development
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• U.S. person per ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual)

Nice to have

• Experience developing CNO capabilities or software reverse engineering
• Familiarity with assembly-level concepts and low-level system behavior
• Experience with system internals on Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices
• Understanding of unit testing and test automation
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)
