Imaging Application Analyst II (Healthcare Imaging): Design, implement, validate, and support enterprise clinical imaging applications including RIS, PACS, and ancillary systems with an accent on configuration, integration, and user experience optimization. Focus on troubleshooting complex issues, HL7/DICOM interfaces, upgrades, and ensuring 24/7 stability for clinical workflows.
Location: Los Angeles, CA - Health Sciences Campus (Onsite full-time). Able to travel to multiple service locations as requested. Ability to work any hours to support 24/7 operations.
Hourly rate: $46.00 - $76.07

What you will do
- Troubleshoot, configure, validate, upgrade, and support Keck clinical imaging applications enterprise-wide, including off-hour on-call resolution.
- Design and lead implementations, upgrades, and solution conversions for imaging apps like RIS, PACS, Voice Dictation, ensuring stability and functionality.
- Perform root-cause analysis, recommend and implement solutions for application issues, and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
- Support HL7 integration between Cerner EMR and imaging applications, ensuring data integrity.
- Develop training plans and materials, deliver training to faculty, staff, and students on imaging applications.
- Collaborate with clinicians, vendors, and IT teams to understand workflows and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience with clinical imaging applications (e.g., Cerner RadNet, Fuji PACS/CV, PowerScribe 360, Varian Aria)
- Working knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE, and Imaging Modalities (XR, US, MRI, CT, Nuclear, Mammo, EKG)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment, work independently, and collaborate effectively
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) required within 30 days of hire
