Fullstack Developer (Java/React)

Location: Toronto, Canada, with a flexible hybrid schedule. Current work authorization for Canada is required. The role is based at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then moves to 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga.

Annual total cash compensation: CAD 99,000–149,000, including base salary and target performance bonus.

What you will do

• Build, enhance, modify, and maintain Java and React applications and software solutions.
• Implement user interfaces and APIs, integrating back-end systems through MQ, SOAP, REST, and JSON services.
• Translate business and systems requirements into practical technical solutions and collaborate with internal users, business partners, and development peers.
• Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices to deliver reliable products and maintain development quality.
• Develop unit tests, documentation, and installation and maintenance procedures.
• Demonstrate products, gather stakeholder feedback, and implement improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, or hybrid/native mobile development.
• Experience developing Java applications and web applications with React or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience with MySQL or similar SQL databases, RESTful services, SOAP, MQ, and JSON.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile project management tools such as JIRA.
• Strong software implementation, planning, communication, stakeholder alignment, and technical presentation skills.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
