Hourly rate: $46.00 - $76.07

What you will do

• Analyze application/interface problems, workflows, and user requirements to develop solutions.
• Define and document departmental requirements and perform need-gap analyses.
• Participate in system design, project scoping, troubleshooting, and milestone planning.
• Work with users, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement systems.
• Create scripts for interface functions and act as subject matter expert for lab systems.
• Fulfill on-call requirements and communicate technical workflows across organization levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
• 1+ year experience in clinical laboratory in healthcare setting.
• Organization/time management, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and evaluation skills.
• Excellent customer service; able to work independently and in a team.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) – obtain within 30 days if not held.

Nice to have

• 3+ years Cerner PathNet GenLab and Blood Bank Millennium experience (design, documentation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting).
