What you will do

• Build and maintain web applications and backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate external data sources.
• Debug defects, optimize application performance, and support reliable software releases.
• Contribute to DevOps workflows and CI/CD automation.
• Write technical documentation, tests, and release notes.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to define and refine features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Flask.
• Experience with Git, Docker or Kubernetes, and virtualized development environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and data pipelines.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and U.S. person status are required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, or ArangoDB.
• Experience with Kafka or Flink for streaming data.
• Exposure to batch analytics, machine learning pipelines, or AWS.
