Chief Product Officer (AI)

Location: Remote - UK Vesta

What you will do

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.
• Identify product opportunities, enhancements, and market expansion potential based on customer needs, market research, feedback, data, and competitor insight.
• Set the direction for responsible AI and automation adoption across the product portfolio.
• Own the full product lifecycle from ideation and prioritisation through development, launch, and continuous optimisation.
• Partner with R&D, delivery, sales, marketing, leadership, and school-catering partners to improve releases, revenue, retention, pricing, and positioning.
• Lead and mentor the product management function and establish product governance, prioritisation frameworks, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior product leadership role such as CPO, Head of Product, Product Director, or similar.
• Strong track record delivering successful B2B software products or technology-enabled services.
• Commercial experience linking product decisions to revenue, growth, retention, and measurable ROI.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams, including executive and board-level communication.
• Experience applying AI, automation, and advanced data capabilities to improve workflows and customer outcomes.
• Experience working in a growing and evolving organisation.

Nice to have

• Background in SaaS, EdTech, and/or payments.
• Experience in regulated, professional services, or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience scaling products and teams in a growth-focused business.
